Tonight was the final of Söngvakeppnin 2013, in Reykjavik, Iceland. From last weekend, there were 7 songs that qualified to the final. These were:
Both the televoting public and the Icelandic jury voted to determine the top two songs that advanced to the "super-final". These were: Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson - Ég á Líf & Unnur Eggertsdóttir - Ég Syng! Both songs battled their way in the super-final. But, of course there could only be one winner, who was decided on televoting alone. The winner was, of course, Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson , with his song "Ég á Líf"!
