EER of Estonia have revealed today that they have received a total of 157 songs for their national selection, this is down 2 on last year. Estonia will select 20 songs to go through to their semi finals on the 16th and 23rd of February. The songs are to be announced later this month.

Estonia had one of it’s best results in their history at Eurovision in 2012 finishing 6th with 120 points, their song was “Kuula” sung by Ott Lepland.

Today the new identity of the Eurovision Memories Song Contest was presented. After 24 editions it was about time for EM to have its own identity that people will recognize. 

Still everyone keeps asking what does it mean? Well the logo will have a personalized presentation when the new Season will be launched. This logo will appear on every theme for every edition. 

Also the Fairness Committee was created today. Their job is to keep fairness in EM. If a song is judged to have an unfair advantage by being too well known, the committee will reject the song to try and keep everyone's chances level. Also the Committee will verify if the song and artist/s fits the main rules of the Contest. 

So be careful what song you will send from EM 25, the committee is watching you closely. 

EM Administration 

Last year Eurovision Memories Song Contest took part at the Online Music Extravaganza and failed to qualify. The reasons were many but in general OME had the only fault. We had to compete agaisnt famous singers such as Pitibull, Shakira, Rihana and many more. How can an anonymous singer beat those? It's obvious that they will win no matter what. The winner of OME was Goye - "Somebody that I used to know", and if we remember correctly this song represented Belgium at EM and did not even reach the top 5. That proves that EM knows to appreciate music for its own value. 

Due to these conditions if the rules don't change we are forced to withdraw in 2013. Let's take a look at what results we obtained:

Today the voting for Season II Awards starts. Everyone is invited to vote their favorite EM Edition, favorite winner, favorite logo, decide what punishment should get those who don't vote on time and what was the most innovative things this Edition. 

The results will be presented before Christmas in a special meeting organized with the Players and Fans. So there's plenty of time for you to vote and decide.

After an exciting night Norway won the right to host the fist edition of Season III in 2013. The recap of all EM 24 songs was broadcasted at the radio and everyone had a great time. Norway won the competition with a total of 145 points followed by Finland on the second place with 135 points and Portugal on the third place with the same amount of points.

Also the curse of the host country was broken this edition. Spain got a fabulous 8th place with 93 points, entering top 10 again. Probably the next city to host EM 25 will be Oslo. Details about the next season will be revealed after Christmas.
