EM 1 - 15 Winnners

Eurovision Memories Song Contest brought victory to many countries and in some cases the victory was doubled. Let's take a look at the EM 1 - EM 15 Winners.

EM 01 - Armenia

Armenia won the first Edition of EM. Since then they got in the top 3 twice. Lately a strange curse hit Armenia and they didn't got a qualifying ticket since many editions ago.

EM 02 - The Netherlands

The Netherlands got their first victory at EM 02, continuing with good results after.

EM 03 - Turkey

Turkey got their first victory at EM 03 with a smashing performance by Sertab Erener.

EM 04 - Sweden

Sweden got their first victory at EM 04. Since then they've sent incredible acts which obtained good results in general.

EM 05 - Italy

Italy got their first victory at EM 05, beating Greece with one point.

EM 06 - Italy

EM 06 - Turkey

Em 06 brought with it a new record! Two countries managed to gain the same points and won the 1st place. Some critics say that actually Turkey deserved to win EM 06 due to higher number of 12 points. Both Turkey & Italy got their second win at the Eurovision Memories Song Contest.

EM 07 - Romania

Romania got their first victory at EM 07 with a song that won most of the Online Eurovision Contests.

EM 08 - United Kingdom

United Kingdom got their first win at EM 08 with world famous singer: Adele. Since then they managed to enter Top 10 almost every Edition.

EM 09 - Cyprus

Cyprus got their first victory ever at EM 09 with a super song that brought a new style to EM!
Cyprus withdrew at EM 17 due to unknown facts.

EM 10 - Finland

Finland won EM 10 obtaining their first victory ever and a top record.

EM 11 - Sweden

Sweden won EM 11 obtaining the best record in the Contest, beating the last winner's record. Since then Sweden got good results + 2 victories!

EM 12 - The Netherlands

The Netherlands got their second victory at EM 12 with a new broadcaster. Since then they've got good ratings failing only once to reach the final.

EM 13 - Denmark

After struggling to win the Contest since EM 01, Denmark got the opportunity at EM 13, when they won the contest, beating Serbia with a few points.

EM 14 - Romania

Romania got their second victory at EM 14 with an up tempo song.

EM 15 - Ireland

Ireland got their first victory at EM 15 with the world famous singer: Enya and her song "Only Time"

In the end we have to following statistics:

Sweden - 2 victories
Romania - 2 victories
The Netherlands - 2 victories
Italy - 2 victories
Turkey - 2 victories
Cyprus - 1 victory
Ireland - 1 victory
Denmark - 1 victory
Finland - 1 victory
UK - 1 victory
Armenia - 1 victory

Problems to be solved!

Soon EM Song Contest will celebrate the first anniversary and we need to solve the common problems in our Contest. Also it's not a secret that we have countries that give 'artificial' votes, probably due to laziness in listening to all the songs.
Artificial votes can ruin the entire system and we can pick the wrong winner. Even though we make good recaps for semifinals and Finals some countries simply won't put in.

According to the statistics Latvia had mistaken the countries several times, by giving points to countries that didn't qualify to the final or didn't enter the Contest that Edition. In Latvia's case this error was repeated for exactly: 6 times.
Also the statistics points out the same error happened once to Spain, Armenia, Croatia, UK and Norway. Still if it happened once it's not a clear fact that the country gave artificial votes.

We would like to point out that we're keeping statistics for each country and no more artificial votes will be accepted in the contest. Since today this will represent another rule that will be included to the set. The Webmaster can disqualify cheaters and anything that will negatively influence the voting system. So please remember to analyze the songs because you are the MAIN judge for your country!

It's time to evolve!

Yesterday we launched the brand new website and today we launch the promised Skype account! You can now find us on Skype simply by searching or adding: eurovisionmemories. Currently we are working on plans to organize EM future editions on Skype due to many reasons, but still we don't know when exactly this will happen. For now you can add us on Skype and feel free to chat with our Team anytime you need answers or you need to announce something important.
