Portugal is already thinking of ESC 2012!

Hello everybody, my name is Márcio and I'm the representative of Portugal. This is my first news so, I'll put you up about what's going on in Portugal about ESC 2012.

 Festival da Canção has been used to select Portugal' song in Eurovision since their debut in 1964 (only in 2002, 2004 and 2005 wasn't used). But this year, RTP (our broadcaster) has some new ideas to try to win something more than the passage to the finals.
First of all, they invited everyone to appear in castings in Lisbon and Porto, and also invited known portuguese singers to send a cd with some of their musics.
Portugal already knows the people who was selected on the castings. But now, we need the song!
RTP is inviting, by now, composers and songwriters to do their best to find a good song for ESC. Then, all what the selected singers have to do is sing that song and try to get the most points!

Only in 10 March we will know the successor of "Homens da Luta", which performance I left to you to hear:
