Automatic qualifiers (if the countries participate on this edition and if there are SFs): Dean (representing Turkey this edition, as he won last edition with Monaco), Nikos and Dago (representing Andorra and Armenia, as they won the ESC Sweepstake 2014)

 Special Rules

1. The group cannot have already participated in a regular EM contest (Therefore, Serebro, One, Supersister, Westlife etc cannot participate, as they already participated in EM.).
2. The group must contain 3 or more people of the same gender. (no duos, e.g. Tatu)
3. The group must be a vocal group only, no instruments allowed. Example: To differentiate between Razorlight / Westlife - Razorlight are not a boyband, they play instruments and are a rock band. The same applies to all female bands. The Spice Girls are a 'Girlband' because they do not play instruments. Therefore Manga, McFly, Sunrise Avenue are not allowed.
4. If necessary, SF1 will have only boysbands and SF2 will have only girlsbands.
