Rules

The Summer 2013 Special Edition is a parallel contest that took place in August 2013. 
Rules to take part at this contest:
  • You need to send a song from the country you represent in EM, that is sung by an artist from that country.
  • It must be a happy song with "Summer", "Sunshine" or "Sun" in the title.
  • All the rules from the Basic EM will be applied here too.
  • We'll use the semifinals system if needed, no SC. Details of SFs to be posted after we receive all songs.
  • The voting system used will be the same as in ESC.
  • As Italy won the last special edition, they will host this edition.
  • Also, in this special edition, we will have a Big-4, just like in ESC. That Big-4 will be composed by the people that are in the contest since the first edition, they are the UK, Greece, Armenia and Romania. If they participate in this edition, they are directly qualified to the final.
