EM Specials
EM
Specials are an extra contest, a side project of Eurovision Memories.
EM Specials are created and organised by Marcio (Portugal) and Ross (United Kingdom). All questions related to EM specials should be directed to them and them alone.
Each Special contest has a theme (Christmas, Summer, Junior etc) and all entries must conform to the theme of the Special contest. All entries to EM Specials are subject to the normal rules of EM and are subject to other extra rules, which will be stated clearly by Marcio and Ross.
Examples of previous extra rules:
- The singer must have been under the age of 16 when the song was recorded (Junior EM)
- The song must contain the words ‘summer’ or ‘sun’ in the title (Summer Special).
There is a separate Fairness Committee (FC) for EM Specials, comprising of Marcio, Ross, Dago (Armenia) and Radu (Italy). Their job is to make sure all entries to EM Special contests conform to the rules of EM and the extra rules of EM Specials. Any EM Special FC related questions should be directed toward Ross and Marcio for discussion with the other members of the EM Special FC.
