Today an old subject was opened on the EM Group. 'Should Kosovo, Vatican and other countries be allowed to take part at EM'? We thought we already closed this subject months ago when we opened a poll where people had the chance to decide if Kosovo should participate or not. 90% of our participants voted for Kosovo's participation at EM and this new country was allowed to enter.
Even though it's not recognized by all the countries in the world, Kosovo has a music industry and most European countries recognize it as an independent nation. So EM Team agreed that Kosovo should stay in the Contest. Is Vatican allowed to continue? Sadly for Vatican its road will end from EM 26. After long discussions the EM Team agreed that Vatican has to go out. Firstly this country does not have a music industry and borrowing from Italy means two Italian entries in the contest. Still San Marino will be allowed to borrow from different regions of Italy so Laura (Vatican) is invited to take San Marino from EM 26 and any other free country. Other countries from our list such as Morocco, Egypt etc will stay in the competition since they have a music industry, they are part of EBU and have the right to take part at the Eurovision Song Contest. We hope we cleared all problems. Off topic: Semifinal 1 Show will take part this Sunday night, so those who had not voted yet please do it by Sunday morning.

![]() Since the voting started we received plenty of votes to be sure that this edition everyone will vote. Also a countdown was installed on the EM 25 Page where people can find out how much time there is left for them to vote in the Semifinals. Results look pretty strange but we expect them to change during voting. Also people can find out how many participants voted in the semis by watching the voting status on the EM 25 Page. We hope to reach above 35% today since EM 25 is the most 'commercialized' edition ever. Good luck and keep on voting! |
