The voting period of the Xmas Edition 2016 Final was officially opened today. A total of 11 countries will compete for the honour to host next year's Xmas Special. The contenders are:

The Results of the Xmas Edition 2016 Semifinal 2 were revealed tonight. A total of five countries made it into the grand final while sadly three of them will miss it. Slovakia, Belarus, Russia, Bosnia&Herzegovina and Turkey will join Moldova and the qualifiers from Semifinal 1 in the Grand Final while Malta, Ireland and Italy will miss it.

Croatia, Romania, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Bulgaria will join Moldova in the Grand Final while Czech Republic and Andorra will miss it.
Greece was officially disqualfied for not voting in the Semifinals and according to the rules it got banned from entering next year's Xmas Edition unless the participation fee will be paid. The results are as follow: Greece - 51.0015 points (originally fifth, the next country qualified with 30.0015). Czech Republic - 28.995 points (seventh position) Andorra - 25.0015 points (eight position) |
