Last night Italy won EM 16 with a total of 148, followed up by F.Y.R Macedonia and Sweden. It's time to reveal the full results. Remember that you can find the links on the Home Page. 

After a fabulous night with many errors and fun, Italy won EM 16 Song Contest with a total of 148 points. The contest started at 18:00 CET and a serious problem with the main chat begun to appear, then the webmaster changed the chat with a better one. The problem will be solved as soon as possible. 
Some of our participants admitted that they already knew the winner due to a picture with points posted on Facebook yesterday. In the end the prediction was wrong because the first line of the points was deleted and F.Y.R Macedonia was not the real winner of the Contest. 
With this winning, Italy becomes the most successful country at EM. The next contest will be held in Milano, according to the host Broadcaster. More details about the contest will be launched soon. 

EBU – It’s been 2 full weeks since the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. Portugal, Germany and Finland have to this point revealed how their jury voted, while Italy published the televoting results. The EBU has not revealed any split result as of yet. This may be a sign that for the first time since the 50/50 system between televoting and jury voting was introduced in 2009, the televoting favorite did not win. That would be Russia. However, no matter what the results were, the EBU should provide full transparency and publish the split voting results in general and for each country in particular as soon as possible! How can the EBU criticize Azerbaijan for not being transparent (not that they actually did that)  if they are far from transparent themselves? 

 United Kingdom – After Engelbert Humperdink’s disappointing result at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, the BBC was faced with criticism about their way of choosing the British entry. Furthermore, many Brits blamed the voting patterns at Eurovision for the bad result and called for a withdrawal of the country. Now, the Daily Mail reports that the BBC has no intention of withdrawing and will discuss a new form of national selection in the coming weeks. The most probable outcome is a televised national final.

Despite the disappointing British result, Eurovision was once more a ratings success for the BBC which currently has to deal with dropping viewing figures of the “The Voice…” series. A withdrawal is thus out of the question. Furthermore, the costs of Eurovision for the BBC are minimal compared to other Saturday evening programs.

The last time the UK chose their entry in a national final was in 2008. Andy Abraham represented the Kingdom and came shared last with only 14 points

   The Grand Final of the 16th Edition of Eurovision Memories will take place on 12th June, where one country will get the chance to bring the trophy home. The results look really interesting and we might deal with a revolutionary winner! 
Almost every country casted their votes except Switzerland, The Netherlands, Ukraine and Latvia but still the voting session is still opened and they can send their votes to avoid disqualification.

   Remember that you will decide the winner of EM 16 Song Contest and voting is very important. Rumors say that the next edition we might be heading to Zagreb - Croatia or Berlin - Germany...in the end we will find out very soon. EM 17 is scheduled to be a very interesting edition since we received a lot of submission which are opened from now on!
