After a terrible conflict between Florin and some of the participants, he decided to leave Eurovision Memories and he refuses to coordinate it anymore. "I'm sad to see that I'm accused of cheating and corruption in my own contest, i never represented more countries that my own!. This site is unique and it wasn't "copied" as David Chavez says... Christmas is coming and after that my final exams too, so i think that's another good reason to leave EM and handle the business to someone who doesn't keep "everything secret"."

Only 30 votes were gathered for the first semifinal, and the countries that go to the final are:

Hello! This is my first time criticizing songs so don’t be too rough on me.In EM09 entered 21 countries and the songs were split into 2 semifinals. United Kingdom, the EM08 winner will go straight to the finals.

In the first semifinal we have

So let’s Start:

1.      Azerbaijan (ARZUM- Milyonlarin Arzusu   ).

Like in other editions Azerbaijan sent a song full of life and with folklore roots. It’s a nice song, hope it will pass the semifinals.

2.      Belarus (Alexander Rybak - Heaven in Europe)

Belarus seems determined to win this time and sent Alexander Rybak. I personally think that it will be a good challenge for other good songs. See you in the finals Belarus!

3.      Ukraine(Ani Lorak - "My Desire")

Ukraine is coming next with a tango themed song which I hope it will win the hearts of many voters. Ukraine has participated in every EM edition but never won, so this is the time!

4.      Croatia (Gibonni feat. Urban i Maya Azucena - "Posoljeni zrak i razliven")

Croatia’s song doesn’t impress much, but it may have a good impact on others. Personally I don’t think it’s a song which will be in the finals

5.      Greece (Giannis Moraitis - "Gia Proti Fora" )

Greece sent once again a very good song, it’s energetic and has all the chances to be in the finals and even top 10. I like the song and I will sure vote it!

6.      Norway (Mira Craig - " I'll take you high" )

This song is nice and it has chances to become one of the finalists.Norway knows good songs.

7.      Ireland( Jedward - "Bad Behaviour")

The twins are energetic and Ireland is determined to take the lead in this edition.We will see if they will make it!

8.      Denmark(Aura - "Something From Nothing" )

This edition Denmark will surely get into the finals because the singer is talented and the song is quite nice. It’s not the winner but it will be a good place anyway

9.      Spain (Estopa - "La Primavera" )

This song takes us to the traditions of Spain. I really think it will make it in Top 10.It makes me feel good and nostalgic, so I will sure vote it.

10.  Russia ( Julia Volkova - "All Because of You")

Russia choice is very nice and like always we will see Russia on good places. I personally like it and I think it’s one of the best song in the competition.

11.  Italy (Alex Gaudino Feat. Chrystal Waters - "Destination Calabria")

Italy’s choice is very good and maybe we will see Italy again in the lead. I hope that this song will make the finals because it’s nice and it makes you feel good.

12.  Finland(PMMP - "Viimeinen valitusvirsi")

Finland song is violent and I don’t think it’s quite good for the finals. But who knows. Personally I don’t like it so much.

13.  Hungary(Kati Wolf - "Life Goes On"  )

Hungary wants to climb the top and I think it will make it because Kati’s song is good and I’ll surely vote it! Good luck!

14.  Sweden(ARASH feat Helena- "Broken Angel"  )

This is a very good choice and a possible winner but maybe the fame of the song is not enough. We will see, but I am sure that this will make the finals.

15.  Turkey (Cem Adrian - "Sari Gelin")

Turkey has beautiful songs and it could send something else. I’m not saying that his choice is bad, but there are many others that are ok. I don’t think we will see Turley in finals.

16.  Romania(O-Zone - "Dragostea Din Tei" )

Romania wants to win again, but I don’t think that O-zone will bring Romania the first place. Their fame is international but in this contest this in not enough.

17.  Armenia ( Armenian All-Stars - "Հայաստանը Դու Ես" )

I think this song is better than many other Armenian entries. I like it and I hope it will make the finals. But I don’t think that it will be in top 10.

18.  Netherlands(Cosy - "Find Your Way Back")

This is such a nice song, and it will be a shame to lose the finals. I like it very much and I would like to make it in the Top 10.

19.  Iceland(Yohanna -  "I Miss You"  )

Iceland will be in the finals for sure and maybe it will be in the higher places. Yohanna is a great singer and I’m sure it will help Iceland climb the highest positions.

20.  Cyprus(Nikki Ponte - "Remembering The Summer Nights")

The song that Cyprus chose is energetic and the finals are waiting for sure. But I have the feeling that club songs like this won’t be appreciated and it won’t make it in top 10.

21.  United Kingdom(Taio Cruz - Higher ft. Kylie Minogue)

The winner of the EM08 seems to want to win again, the song is nice, but it will be enough to make it in top 10?We will see in the finals
