![]() As most of you know, the Eurovision Memories Song Contest can have up to 53 participants from all over Europe and the Mediterranean. Fortunately for all of us, the EM Team has managed to secure 45 participants for the upcoming EM45 edition (it seems 45 is THE perfect number)! The last time we saw such a large number of entries was back in EM34 (47 entries), and even though the record goes to EM32 (50 entries), we're celebrating these great news in our EM Team headquarters! Out of the EM44 participants, only Russia withdrew, but they promised to make their comeback in EM46; and we have five amazing returning countries: Albania, Estonia, Monaco, Poland (all of whom last participated in EM43) and Morocco (who last participated in EM38). Sadly, we still cannot find suitable players for six countries (their last appearance appears between brackets): Azerbaijan (EM43), Belarus (EM41), Egypt (EM36), Georgia (EM39), Kosovo (EM36), Macedonia (EM39). And Malta? Well, it seems they'll come back soon. The 45th edition of our contest is very important because it marks exactly THREE years since the contest began in Arad, Romania, with the first win from Armenia (Inga & Anush - "Menq Enq Mer Sarerë"). Since then, we have had 1449 entries, a lot of stories, movies, comics and drama; but we're still here, proving that this contest is like wine, getting better as time passes by. The EM community has prepared a lot of surprises for this edition so stay tuned for them! #ClarkItUp in Leeds, UK!
